I went to get some footage of an outdoor car show today... Only had 2 batteries to fly on so I was working quickly. The entire time I was out there no matter where I went there was a large crowd of people flocking around me to "learn more"... I don't mind but it sure makes it hard to concentrate on the shot... I had my cinemizers on and everyone was crowding me trying to see the screen... finally I just let them pass the glasses around to look... that bought me a little time to concentrate on flying... but now I need to disinfect the glasses... From now on I am going to set up a field monitor with the second controler so people can flock around that... I never have a second person available to use it anyway so at least I can put it to use...

Funny story... I was taking off from the middle of the street... After changing to the second battery I did the calibrate dance and it would not take.. I did the dance aboout 4 times (infront of a big crowd giving me lots of laughs)... finally my daughter pointed out that I was standing right on top of a man hole cover... palm to head...

Here is a quick edit of the footage I shot yesterday. This footage will be used along with footage we shot on the ground with C100's...

When you say you just "dropped" the LUT on for quick and dirty edit, is this a plug in for premier or some other video software?

LUTs (look up table) are used with log footage to assist in color correction... They are essentially presets that you can add to Log footage to boost color and contrast. I am no expert on LUTs by any means... So what I do is shoot in Log to preserve as much "raw data" then add the LUT in post. Then from there I adjust the color to my liking.... There are some posts by others on this forum that can probably explain better than I can... I did not see any point in spending time on color correction for this edit because it was just a quick edit for myself to see what I had from the drone... Once I mix the larger project with the main cameras on the ground and the drone together I will have more control to make all the cameras look the same...
