I got a Spark as a Christmas gift.
Charged the battery and did all the necessary steps- updated to the newest firmware as instructed by DJI support.

No luck for my brand new Spark, I was very excited to have the DJI product but now dont know what to do with this Spark.
Not sure about the exchange policy in Bestbuy Canada- it says unopened box only.

Hope DJI can help me with this issue so I can have atleast a good new year to come!!!

The reason was that Spark was not connected with the RC. How to do it you can read in the Quick Start Guide or in the video here below:

Hi, sir. Did you solve the problem? I would recommend you connect your spark with phone and  enter DJI GO 4 and see the error message in the app. Please keep us updated, hope it can works.

Solid red rear LED critical error, Yes connect to your device with DJI GO 4 app to understand the error message. Secondly there are youtube videos to understand the LED indicators what they are telling you or just have to go through the manual.
