I'm flying the Mavic Pro Platinum. This low-decibel aircraft is awesome, especially for my purposes. It's very stealthy.

Now the glaring sounds are the startup chime at the aircraft and various beeps and chimes from the remote controller.

Is there a way to turn OFF these sounds?

Nope. these rare there for a reason mostly safety!

And they are much lower level than earlier drones like the Phantoms.  In fact, Mavic boot up is very quiet.  At least mine is.

Would be nice though if the volume can be turned down, by about 4 decibels for the Platinum.

On the aircraft, sounds seem to generate from the front air intake grill, so covering it is not an option.

On the remote, I cannot determine from where exactly — what to cover with maybe tape.

There is a fan in there for heat, so covering up a port might not be good.
