So I Just installed assistant 3.8 and It says I already have 3.12. This is my first time updateing the firmware so I want to make sure this is right. I tested the phantom with props off and everything seems to be working.  But I thought I would have to click on upgrade and then it would update.  So I dont know if it updated or not. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Does your upgrade page look something like this when you connect your phantom to the PT2 assistant?

It looks like all you would need to do is to calibrate the sticks and x1 for the camera tilt.  Then go flying.  Did you download the 1.8 manual and read that?  There's a wealth of information in it to know before flying.

What is the Zen IMU info data? My P2 Assistant software display doesn't have that line. Mine is the P2V. Would that line only apply to the Vision plus owners?  ...Now that you had me compare displays to yours, I have basically what you have displayed except for the Zen IMU data line, however, when I go to the info tab, the display says I am running 3.8 software..no updates available. Under the upgrade tab, the display data for the Main Controller to be version 3.12. My question is, why the difference ? Thanks ... peace

Sorry, I didn't notice that.  The Zen IMU is the camera upgrade.

It is a zip file so download it to a folder you make, then open the read me file, All the instructions are right there to install it.

As far as the 3.08 and 3.12,  you have the 3.12 for the main controller which is correct.  The PT2 APP on your computer is 3.08 which incorporates the 3.12 for the controller.

Thank you Gerry, I was unaware of that upgrade. Would that upgrade be applicable to the Vision as well as the Vision plus or only the Vision plus?  Thanks for explaining the difference in the version numbers also. Peace

The Phantom 2 vision has that upgrade on the download page also, do it looks like it's applicable.
