Very nice! I grew up in KC and St.Louis. I do miss the limestone cliffs, canoeing through the streams and exploring the state parks. Don't miss the ticks or poison ivy though.....

I live near Saint Louis.  I fly in most of the state parks around here.  Great video, as I haven’t been to that park yet.  I will have to check it out.

Thank you. There are no state regulations beyond the federal hobbyist and part 107 rules. I live just north of Columbia. I try to use common sense and stay clear of other visitors and have never had a bad experience. I once had a park ranger stop and ask what I was doing and ended up talking about the technology with him for about 20 minutes. He seemed like he was on the edge of buying one himself .

It is a really neat park. All of the original buildings are at least partially still there and there are great info boards that detail the history as you walk around.

Thank you nnote. I hiked through a seed tick swarm last summer with some cub scouts. I get itchy just thinking about it.

It is definitely wirth the trip. There are miles of great trails through the woods surrounding the site as well.

ok i have emailed and tweeted the park service and not one answer so i was going to go fly anyway. Just wondered if you had any trouble with them and thank you.

The two biggest concerns people have about drones in parks is disturbing people and disturbing wildlife. So my rule of thumb is to always fly as if it's not allowed: stay far away from people and don't disrupt wildlife.
