Did you have this one time or more time in line? You may land the bird and restart the complete system.

Make arrangements to send it back, you don't have to deal with this problem, it is faulty as delivered.

May be the P3 in the box was delivered too careless. ???

The drone was contained in the original box and a larger padded box, no sign of damage or beatings. In my opinion this problem is  to the proximity to low voltage electric cables from where I often fly. I think that with a compass calibration in open space it solves.

May be the compass stuck again in that cable salad. Try another start places without any extra EM signs. Try to hover without a calibration and let it hover on place. If the warning not present then let it rotate on place. If there no message then let it fly.....and you know what to do and what to let be. Calibration must be the last option what you can do.

I had this warning a couple weeks ago on my P3P.  So I recalibrated the compass.  I had to recalibrate 3x before the warning went away.  But it finally did.  And the warning didn't return in subsequent flights.

I kind of like Alabama's suggestion.  Kinda.

The compass isn't in the top of the shell, it is located in the leg on a P3 Standard. IMU is located in the top of the shell. The compass has no moving parts so a whack anywhere won't solve anything. Re calibrate the compass a few times to see if that clears the error.

I'm talking about the compass connection to the board.

I got this warning for the first time yesterday on my P3S.  My first flight went without error.  Changed the battery and received the warning.  Restarted and flew for a few minutes.  Landed and shut down the props.  Went to take off and got the warning two more times even after restarting the aircraft.  I called it a day after that because I felt it was unsafe to fly until this issue is fixed.  Firmware version 1.9.20.

I think this may be a bug.  I have gotten it twice during the last month myself.  Just restarting everything seems to fix.

To today i got this 1 time only when i started the P3S from a concrete plate. On all other places i had no issue of this sort.

Never start the aircraft up on a concrete surface. The concrete may have steel or rebar in it and it will confuse the compass.

I realized too,a street or road as take off place is a russian roulette too with the compass. But i did´nt need to recalibrate it.
