Sorry if I am asking the question again but it seems like the last several firware upgrades have degreaded the Inspire 1 & 2 flight speed. I am not getting the speed on calm days. Currently I get around 30-35 mph on both, maybe a bit higher on the 2. I still can get higher speed when the Inspire 2 is in sport mode. I normally fly in GPS mode

I have the latest and greatest versions for the Inspire and on IOS using a iPad Pro

I was just flying my Inspire 1 Pro with Z3 yesterday, and my max speed was 43.1 MPH
Also fully updated to latest and greatest AC/RC/APP

I clocked my I1 at 67 mph with this latest firmware.

93.1 downwind ,  if I can find  the screen shot I will send it to you .  I was going downwind and it was still gaining speed till I chickened Out  LOL

ahhh using the wind, gotcha.

ya mine was just bird nice calm sunny day... gonna have to try the wind thing though

Thanks for the feedback, not sure what's up with my birds.

had a little wind today as was able to hit 47.1 MPH

That's OK I can go 94 with it in my car

My Inspire 1 was a rocketship before V1.3 of the firmware.
Has flown like a pig ever since, but I'm used to it.

All I can think of is the batteries heated up  during  high speed flight  and they had to scale it back . I agree prior to 1.3 they were MUCH faster .

I had a HUGE tailwind , Lucky I made it back  ( fighting the headwind on the return leg ) as it was very difficult as I remember .

Some have found out the hard way what can happen if you don't get back soon enough in those kinds of wind, but thinking about it, specially Mavic owners. You were flying in 40 hour winds? Brave soul!

yea i do recall mine being faster also my Mavic in sport mode only does 40mph.... i recall reading speeds of 50-60 in sport mode when it first came out

why DJI gotta ruin all the fun

Never had a battery issue myself, but that could have been a factor.
I would be very happy to revert back to pre V1.3 FW and app - so many things broken since then!
