Hi, please could i have some assistance in getting my DJI spark connected to my windows PC through the dji assistant 2. I have the latest version installed which is version V1.1.6 and have reinstalled it sevral times turning off the firewall  to which it still does not recognise my drone (the startup page circle with the usb connecting to the computer and the how to connect inspire 2 still showing whilst the drone is switched on and connected via usb). All firmwares on the drone are up to date as well.

For me I had to wait quite some time for windows to auto-install all the required drivers via windows update when I first plugged it in to my laptop. After that was done it connected to DJI Assistant. This was on win7.

Will the same apply to windows 8?

There has been a post recently here in this forum suggesting that the solution can be found in this document (applicable both for Windows 8 and 10): http://download.support.xerox.co ... nt-Win_8_8.1_10.pdf

You might need to turn off the Windows 8  driver signature enforcement on your pc, as DJI hasn't done this verification of it's drivers with Microsoft

This prevents the drivers from loading which then disconnects the AC from DJI Assistant 2

This is exactly what I had to do for Windows 8.1.

Please keep us updated if the solution in 4# does not work. Or you can change a PC and see if it works. Thanks for your support.

Latest DJI Assistant 2 version is DJI Assistant 2 v.1.2.0

I couldn't get it to see my Spark until I connected it with the original cable that came with my Spark.
