Does anyone have info/link on a drone license for drones 55lbs and under? I looked on the FAA site and elsewhere could not find info, everytime I clicked on a website it would show a military drone that shoot bombs.

Do a search on google for a 333 exemption and the first link it produces is.....

I filed for my FAA exemptions today.  32 pages long, I'm tired. It sure is easy to file online!

I listed my Phantom 2 and a Phantom 3.  I guess I will have to buy a 3 someday soon!

same here recently - FAA said they are looking to approve in as little as 45 - 60 days I read - bc so many applications are similar

not that I'm aware of - there was no mention of that in the instructions - did you think you were submitting it to the wrong place like I did?

Yeah, It was for comments and exemptions.  I was a little perplexed/confused.  I went for it and I think it will be fine

same here - did you apply as a business or yourself?

Just as myself.  The business part comes later for me. This morning I called the Sacramento FBSO and got it urge to apply today.

Rumor has it that making a video that will be used commercially is a violation of FAA rules etc. even if no money exchanged hands.  I'm not sure if it would stick, but that was the rumor. I guess the opinion was the video or aerial images will be used to make money by someone so it is commercial.
I'm just repeating what I heard!  Don't shoot the messenger.
