These tips are super helpful. A fly away drone really scares me. Do you know any tips to secure your drone?
I always try to have my remote with me. that way it limits flyways because the remote itself is hardwired to the drone. i have not see the remote malfunction yet and I feel is the true last line of defense for not losing or damaging your drone. Also always keep a line of site.

That's a good tip. Yeah keeping a line of site would really help to secure it. How about having a tracking device. Do you think it is super helpful?
tracking device on spark is pointless - good device cost half of spark , second it add's weight to this tiny drone and add radio interference you should keep away.

MY OPINION
Ohh so you've tried using a tracking device. What tracker have you tried?

Yeah a tracker maybe a bit heavy for a drone but so far in my experienced it did helped a lot in terms of securing my drone.
