Hey, just wanted to get everyone's opinion on which camera setting they use and why?

I just got mine and have flown only twice and only once with a sim card.  I recorded in auto because I wasn't really trying to capture anything - just flying.  But I plan to use manual mode.  The reason is to provide control over the exposure.  If you are going from shade to light the auto setting will try to adjust when you might not want it to.  so best to set the correct exposure for your shot in manual.

With the Spark's limitations I use mostly auto as it does an amazing job for the most part.  When I use filters I use manual.

Auto if flying for the fun of it - manual if focusing on a specific image.

I would definitely recommend automatic it works great!

+1 on the Spark I use auto

It depends on your preference. Don't forget to share your works with us.

I use auto most of the time since it has a better transition when there's a change in brightness. I only use manual mode at night/low light conditions

Yes I believe the 1080P camera can do more justice with some tweaks for a very good picture.

I always use auto because  I am not fast enough to configure the settings in mid air.

I was actually going to get online here and ask this same question today.  

Tried to take a 360 pano last night around sunset while using auto.  The shots were washed out or way too dark to see depending on where I started the shot.
Clicked over to manual settings and configured for a good balance between the two.  That shot turned out the best.

I'm thinking for the flying around shots that Auto works best.  But if you are wanting to take that video or Pano shot; manual probably gives a better end product.  It just takes more time and that isn't something the Spark has in abundance while in the air.   LoL
