Hey fellow pilots,

Does DJI provide any official safety data sheet for their batteries? It would make travelling with Gimbal and drones much easier.
In my case it’s my Inspire 2 which has to travel with all other camera equipment to Thailand, by air cargo,  but the batteries must be taken out and have to be carried in the hand luggage. Also the batteries of the Ronin habe to go into hand luggage. Absolutely ridiculous. Any advice??

If you dont want to struggle with traveling with your drone/gimbal you can always think about shipping everything to the hotel ahead of you. It is more comfortable as you dont have to worry about it the whole travel. To make sure that your stuff will be handled gently you can always try to find a transport provider by services like https://clicktrans.com/, where you will get quotes after listing you luggage and then you can examine the feedback from previous users to make sure the company handles the packages as good as they should

In most cases, carrying a limited amount of batteries with you as a carry-on should be no problem. Many airlines allow up to 160 Wh to be transported as carry-on.
