Firstly, before upgrading check it will fit your need, eg are you using it for travel, does the warranty suit? What quality video / photos are you looking for? Would a waterproof drone work better for what you need. If you are asking the question are we happy with our Mavics - I am sure the forum will answer a resounding yes. Smiles alison

Short answer yes, but dont waste your money on the Care Refresh. Get insurance through a local insurance agent like state farm or geico. It's cheaper and will cover loss or stolen drones even if the loss is while flying, which DJI Care Refresh does NOT.

Buy it from your local dealer cause they value your business better than DJI. Local retailer will give you refund or replacement if you have a reason for return.

+1 buy it from a reputable DJI authorised local dealer, don't go for the cheaper overseas prices, someone like https://advexure.com/ or best buy

It might cost a few bucks more, but DJI do have a lot of warranty claims and it makes it easier dealing with a reputable company

DJI Warranty is country specific, so buy from your own country to protect against no warranty coverage and the mess of having to send it back overseas.

Wait and see if a Mavic ll pops up from DJI. Then you have the choice between it, or maybe the current Mavic Pro at a discounted price.

i love my mavic and i love flying it - without app problems i would say definate yes, buy the mavic. However app problems are too common, incredibly frustrating and time consuming trying to resolve and puts yr investment sometimes at very high risk. But my wish for you is that you will fly app problem free - then it is a great buy - i wish u the best

Thanks for interesting in DJI Products! Mavic is small and available for most scenarios. You will not regret.
