compass 1 not working after new firmware update any ideas please

You might  try refreshing the firmware.

tried that and reset to factory settings still no go,
I think there's  a problem everywhere with dji update.

Ken, have you got any error message about the compass? Are you able to calibrate the compass?  Could you please provide some screenshots or a short video about this issue?

Thanks for that the error is now resolved, Didn't calibrate from new.  
One problem I have got is the fact I cannot put on a quick release propellers, this is the Fourth phantom I have owned with no trouble at all putting on the propellers,  for some unknown reason they will not fit,
I have pressed down and rotate but it still won't twist into lock any ideas
