Thank you

I seem to be unintentionally working my way along that river - seeing things I didn’t know existed!

Good luck with the MP - I do remember you having one and then returning it. Looking forward to more daylight hours

Yes, still regret that.
But sometimes it is just wise to not listen to regrets and follow ratio...

Indeed - no amount of regret will change the past!

I love these circular views of our tiny spot in the universe...

So unique and individual.

Thank you. And yet my physical presence in these photos amounts to a handful of pixels - a speck in the landscape let alone the universe

Our galaxy is a speck, in the bigger picture.

But yet, you, stand out, like a, sore thumb. Well spoken in a James T Kirk voice. Hahaha

Yes, have you seen the biggest picture taken, of it yet?

I’ve seen a few attempts at rendering the universe but not sure if I've seen the latest attempts. Oddly enough it was seeing how spacecraft and probes went about stitching images that started my interest in panoramas. The technology for me to try it first hand appeared rather too late I’m my life to have changed my course.

Imagine how awesome it would have been stitching images from Mars for the first time

That's quite astonishing- the Hubble is an amazing device and I'l bet someone in their imagery team has a penchant for stitching panoramas

Interestingly, cosmologists reckon the Andromeda galaxy pictured is on collision course with our own galaxy, the Milky Way, but not on a timescale we should worry about!

To think that an entity may be looking back at us from Andromeda thinking the very same thing!

The distance between objects in space is so huge, that two galaxies could pass through each other and nothing ever crash together. Think infinite...

Stars are light years apart.
