A year ago, I created my first drone video depicting the winter landscape of Big Bear Lake called "The Lake, and the Ice". Now on my last day of holiday vacation, I finally finished my Summer seasonal video using the Mavic Pro shot more than a half a year ago...I know quite delayed! Appropriately, the music for this video is also called "Delayed", by Paul Cardall, which was used to capture the relaxing summer times up here after all the snow has melted. See it in 4k with sound, enjoy!

Haha! The opening shot is actually in our cabin back yard but higher up with the lovely trees.  But yes the ski resort becomes a bike terrain resort in the summer. I loved seeing the difference from up high!

Really nice... Made me a little bit sad... Reminded me of Lake Tahoe.
I lived in the Sierra foothills(Foresthill) for 3 years, loved going on the old logging trails.
Tried to drive from Forresthill to Soda Springs at the side of I-80
After 2+ hours of driving almost made it within a few miles...
Big cedar across the road with banked up snow, that was in August..!!

Heyo, yes it was all Lumetri for colors after shooting all the footage in Dlog or Cinelike depending on situation.

You're making me homesick; I lived in those beautiful mountains many years ago. Back when the big Landers earthquake hit in the early 90s, we locals renamed the town, "Chimney Falls." Nice to see the beauty is back! Thanks!

Awww yeah everything has recovered since then, and the tourism and outdoor sporting here has been amazing to the lake! The only thing left is to get more rain/snow to fill up that lake some more.  Last year, it was record rain/snow.  We had a 6 ft wall of shoveled snow in front of our cabin...insane!! Hope you can make it back some day

Oh no!! Yeah surprisingly lots of people near the mountain have never visited this beauty of a place.  Hopefully one day you can visit!

Nice! Did you get to go up there with some snow? I'm happy to see that it'll be snowing again this week, which is when I visit!
