Hi guys,

Does someone know why my DJI GO 4 is closing by itself when I'm controlling my DJI Spark and recording (using audio on cache)? It closes and not show any error message.

Are you using official firmwares on the device ?

Which version of GO 4 on which operating system (iOs or Android) are you using?

The latest one  DJI GO 4 (4.1.22).
Android is 7.1.1

YEs, the normal one. I'm using a motorola z play

Try to delete the app and reinstall. Worked for me in both cases that I had a similar issue (iOS).

Had the same problem with DJI Go 4.1.22 app just closing midflight.  Never checked if it happened when recording.  The previous version of DJI Go an error message popped up when it closed midflight.  Switched to the Litchi app and the problem was solved.

Has any of the previous versions of the app worked well on your phone? If yes, I would suggest to go back to that one.

I'm having a similar issue resulting in some random closing of the app on Android 7.0. The connection to the RC remains. I'm quite new to the Spark (or drones in general), so I can't say if there's a previous version working better for me.

more recent Android builds have a battery optimization feature which may come into play - settings can be switched off for selected apps - i'm trying this fix with a phone i purchased for dedicated use with my spark.

Also try making more space in your device. It might be overloaded

I see this often on Android.

Poor DJI application is to blame.

Words with friends is a thousand times more stable.

disconnect the internet while you are flying the SPARK.
