But I do wish DJI / Others would stop advertising in situations that an inexperienced pilot could have a disaster.
The Spark same : Videos show fling in tight spaces, whizzing past unsuspecting people, in amongst partying people ... basically all the things we avoid to prevent accidents.

People who do not know better will see that ... and Wey Hey - I can do that ... SPLAT.

Please DJI etc. - be a bit more responsible ?

I used to test fly all sorts of indoor mini multi-rotors ... with and without guards. I have one that is smaller than this and it has circular guards all round ... I needed a serious amount of band-aid one day with it ..

People forget that electric motors when they get stalled pull more power ... and wait to get you again when you pull out !! They cut when fingers go in ... and again when fingers come out. Unlike fuel powered motors that stall and stop.

Small they may be - but they still hurt !!

Imagine it falling into a pram with small child in it ...

I asked a question, didn't make a statement!

It says in the advert:
"Relax! Tello's Super Safe."

Which doesn't match what you have just said, so who is correct?

Maybe the props cut the power if they hit something, they can't weigh more than a couple of grams so don't have much kinetic energy.

And what are the regulations for flying an 80g drone, do we still need to stay 50m away from any persons?  Clearly not the case in the video!

How is it we grew up riding bikes, skating, etc. without helmets, knee pads, wrist guards, and more all the while managing to avoid killing ourselves or being severely injured.
We have almost forgotten what it means to live dangerously, not that we should mind you, but boiling it down there is risk in everything and anything and you can't remove it.

Just look in the mirror. Ha

But we lived to crash another day. ;-)

The first time I rode a bike, no one told me there were brakes. I found myself in the ditch...

Today, scars are considered beauty marks. Some people even frame theirs with an outlining tattoo.

Personally, I get most of my current thrills while I rYde my '13 Can Am SpYder RS-S Roadster.

But I can take out a Mathews compound bow and a dozen FMJ arrows, to elevate my heart rate as well.
Even though, we need to control that pulse, to take a fine shot... Ha

The micro drone market is the only niche that other manufacturers had up on DJI,  now they will be crushed out of existence just like GoPro and autel robotics. It’s a good thing dji makes nice equipment cause there’s no other options...

My perspective for anyone paying respect to their nation is simple, if you are showing respect and making a good honest effort than enough said...I consider that better than taking a knee or not standing and worse that you wont do it for your own country but then do so for another nations anthem...
