Is possible to downgrade a Inspire 1 Pro to 01.00.00.30 (Sept '15)?

In theory yes for the AC, but be careful you will miss important upgrades, some related to security (I'm thinking to the batteries)

For the RC, I did it with the appli. Only 1.6.0 and the version before were available.
I did not try the old process (FW on an USB key). Not sure if it works.

Here is mine, slightly different. Probably you use different version of GO then me.[view_image]

So, previously 32 channel mod worked for me on both GO and GO4, iOS and Android as well (I use iPad4 Mini and Shield K1). After one of latest update this feature gone on both.

You may need to use a Windows machine. I have an MAC and tries to load it to my other I pad and had a heck of a time . But on  my windows machine it was no problem .  If I figure out why I will let you know , tied for lke an hour yesterday and then used my windos system and it worked right awy .  somthing abou the extension is what I read ,It need to have a (.) in forn of Dji .configs

I am having trouble getting it to load now myself , I just updated to the very latest go app on my I pad  3.1.24 and can't get it to load .  I will try my PC at work tomorrow and have a couple of members , Rich and Daroga with PM's out to them to see if there's still works .

So I am not getting it to work either ......

They may have gotten hip to what we were doing .

I flew with older go apps for a long time with no issues  but I  had a super old one ( go app ) can't remember the version but it would not work with the later versions of firmware.

How did you open the hidden files on the I tunes ? Is that possible .  It comes up with the list of files to the right of the screen but is there a way to view hidden files .

iTunes doesn't see hidden files. I copied .DJI.configs using drag'n'drop from desktop into iTunes window. To check if it was copied I drag'n'drop once more same file, if iTunes says "Replace..." it mean file was copied, that's the trick
BTW. Do you have command+shift+> shortcut assigned to some app or script? I use ShowHide App it hide/unhide files for me.

I dont think the latest go app will allow this as I have done this on three Ipads in the past no problem , so I think they did a work around to prevent it.

I guess I could have added more detail yet. Cable between controller and Ipad new and certified. Even used original cable that came with the Ipad till I was tired of the hanging length. Cable between vibration board is new on I1 V1. I have a parts drone and even changed the compass unit ( internal component the the vibration board plugs into) I do live near and often fly in the New Jersey Pine Barrens which are famous for bog iron so location could have been a good culprit except I had the same issue in Palm Dessert CA, Park City Utah, Mont Tremblant, Quebec. Some of the locations are populated and some so remote there is no cell signal. Green screen varies and is unpredictable. Temps have varied from 114 down to -23. Definite on the GoApp for I1 and not I2. Litchi works like a dream so I will keep switching back to the as DJI updates it , as well as keep trying along with Apple updates. It may be an Apple IOS issue, Who knows. I am still in the air and still having fun. Its electronics and crap happens. I, We, the forum will get it resolved. In the meantime I am still having fun and hope this helps others. Still cant get 32 channel Upgrade to take. Going to try again later.

If you follow my post in this thread you will see I had some weird lag/green screen issues when using DJI GO app. When using Litchi all was good. I was out flying/testing both Inspires on the 13th using Litchi app. The I1 V2 started giving me a message of "MC not connected to mainboard". It switched to Atti mode and I immediately brought it in and landed. Time to pack up and go home. I started a repair ticket and will be sending in the Inspire to the New York repair center. This is where it gets odd. I was having the same issue of lag and green screen on both Inspires sharing the same Ipad. After starting the repair ticket I factory reset the Ipad and started as a new device. I went out on the 14th with the Inspire 1 and my Mavic. Using the Ipad with DJI GO and GO 4 everything was perfect. I have no explanation why both were showing the same problem and yet only one had an issue. The DJI go app recognizes each INspire individually so I don't think settings or memory could be in conflict. I will follow up with what needs to be fixed on the I1 V2 once the estimate is sent. Donnie, Thanks again for you efforts as well as everyone else who tried to help. Makes no sense to me but I have a flyable Inspire again.

I PM'd you back regarding the 32 Ch hack. Short version is DJI has blocked it from working in the new versions of the Go Apps.

I’ve fixed the green screen by deleting DJI go and reinstall and that fixed my green screen issue

That more than likely cleared the cache on the go app device feeing up valuable space.  What you could try is turning off the recording to the Go app device  and also "Enable " the Hardware Decode on the go  app device itself as this takes some of the l and off the go app device .

The repaired Inspire 1 will arrive tomorrow. DJI service remains in question. Instructions for sending in repair are very specific as to only send in remote and drone. OK, easy enough. After 5 days of waiting I get the email saying that the repair is complete and there will be no charge as nothing was found wrong. If you read my problems that led to the service you would be just as surprised. So I call to confirm, Yes, your drone was tested and had an in house test flight and all was found to be good. My question was " How did you test fly when I have Carbon Fiber Props and the adapters are still on. PLEASE HOLD. 5 minutes later, We will call you within the hour for an update. 5 hours later I get a call saying I now need a compass and GPS. OK, so we went from a test flight and nothing wrong to needing a compass and GPS. Way to go DJI. I did authorize the repair with many questions that still remain unanswered. especially "What does a compass and GPS have to do with video lag". Did I just catch the repair center in a big "DUH" maybe. Hopefully I can test fly before the 7 day guarantee is over. Were unneeded parts replaced, Probably. Will my repaired Inspire 1 still have the same issue. HOPE NOT. I will follow up

That is sad, looks like caught in a lie.  I don't understand why they did not want the camera if you had video lag....makes no sense...  I mean sure some part of video  transmission come from the AC but the majority are on the camera....strange indeed.

Yep, and that is why I'm not shifting from the app / fw versions I've got loaded on my personal Inspire 1! The work ones get latest updates, but I'll not be shifting my one from where it is now.

I spent good $$ on an Inspire bundle with the second controller and expect the slave RC to work when I need it to!

Beautiful irony that they continued to sell the dual RC combo after crippling the channel/TX power levels, with support providing people the 32 channel hack file to basically reverse the change they implemented to bring it back into compliance!

I was able to do a 7 minute flight on Saturday.  Flew at 220 ft altitude. video was ok. no green screen or dropped picture but there is still a lag. Did lose GPS for a moment while 900 or so feet from take off point.  It is hard to tell with this flight as I do have an extended WiFi within my home. I will need to give it a full workout over the coming weekend when I can get into the woods and away from interference.

You could just turn your  home wi-fi off for testing purposes.  Also some lag is normal.

So just curious, On the I pad were are all these other files you speak of ?  I thought deleting the App was enough.  

If you just give me the basics of where the other folders and files are at that will help .

After deleting the APP, go into your FOLDERS and you'll see a few DJI folders remain. Wipe and reinstall DJI APP.

I know this thread is old, but I searched it because I am having the same problem but with my P4P. So it's not just the inspire. Did you ever find a resolution? I also use an iPad Mini 2

Compass and GPS module replaced. Then upgraded to an IPAD pro. Has been good since.
