Has anyone found a good lens option in the 8mm to 14mm range for the X5S? I dont like the zoom 9-18mm, is there a prime lens in this range that works?

But we still recommend to use the lens in our compatible list since they have been fully tested, appreciate your understanding.

You might want to look at the laowa 7.5mm zero distortion, never used it but looks good.. not sure how it balances either but there is a video out there.

I heard that you have to trick this lens to work by starting the drone with a DJI certified lens and then hot swapping to the 7.5mm.

I was watching a interview with Chris Newman with Drone Pro Academy.  He's one of the top drone guys in the country.  By the way, he owns all types of drones from tiny toys to Octocopters, but in the interview he said that the Inspire 2 is his go to work horse.

That lens looks like a promising lead! Thanks.  My Inspire is also my go to, it flys like a high end sports car.

Hi Mindy, i have Olympus M-Zuiko 14-42 compatible with Zenmuse X5. Il also compatible with X5S^

Yes.  Only need the license for the SSD card and higher resolution files for cinema.

Of course. It's just you cannot shoot CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes.

What is the A and B column indicate? I just purchased the Olympus 45mm and now it seems I need a balancing ring. Looks like there are 2 different rings? I am confused. Please explain.

You need both the 37-8 and 37-6 rings for the 1.8/45mm lens (if you are not using filter).

Like rent said, you will need two balancing rings. If you would like to mount the filter, please purchase it according to our chart, then remove the BR-Ф37-6.
