Can someone with a phantom 3 give me the diameter of the lens?

Yesterday, in a local hobby shop, we measured the outside diameter - I wasn't about to attempt to measure anything else! The owner pointed out that a camera shop might be able to provide a lens cap, given the outside diameter - 33.66mm

The owners also pointed out that I need to exercise caution. Lens caps *might* be like lens filters - the inside threads on filters are smaller than the OD!

Not sure how someone would search for some kind of plastic/delrin cap exactly the size that would fit.

It certainly seems strange that a lens cap was not provided - it appears at the moment that no one has a lens cap!

Lack of lens cap is sick.... are they saving on everything? When you remove the protective foil from the lens there is 1mm space between lens glass and carton box, during transport lens will touch the carton.... it is crazy.

I cannot believe  how someone can design such a thing? Are chineese people really careless?

Not exactly sure I understand what you're asking.  I have a digital camera and cropped the photo.  I clicked the "Advanced" link when I posted my note so I could upload the photo from my computer.  Does any of that answer your question?

The standard comes with one, but the advanced and the Pro do not. Would think that would be the opposite way.

Mine measures 31.44.  This is ridiculous, I'm going to contact DJI if they can't make these all exactly the same I am taking my phantom back, this is ridiculous.

I 3D Printed a basic one with flexible material at a cost of around  (US) 0.15c and use with stock gimbal lock since anything fancier required mods to Hardshell Case.

My P3S has one.
