is it possible to add me to the beta testing program please,      john.k.williams@ntlworld.com

Since July 2017  after updating my P-4 firmware to 106 like many others I have struggled with Stability problems camera resetting  etc .
I’ve reinstalled 106 many many  times  upgraded my controller Firmware , DJI go app i’ve tried many variations of the reinstallation order , calibrated and adjusted many settings with little or no effect
i've Stopped flying several  times patiently  waiting for Stable firmware to be updated and hopefully fixing the issues

Please can I be added to the beta testing program, i’m not looking for a quick firmware fix.
but a  more stable Beta firmware would be lovely  
I am more than willing to give the relevant feedback to help forward the development of the beta testing program So an official  firmware can be made available for all

I'll tell you , I couldn't wait any longer so I rolled back to FW 01.02.053 and I'm so glad I did. P4 is now as stable as it was before this FW mess. No stability issues, no gimble issues. I only wish I had done it months ago!

I'm curious. Why didn't go back to the last prod firmware prior to the main changes - the more recent v1.2.602? It included the battery "optimisation".
But otherwise I sadly can't consider that option, as I want to share batteries between my P4 and P4P, and I can only do that with them on the most recent firmware releases.

i guess i just wanted to roll back to a FW i knew was stable. and it most certainly is. and battery life is just as it was also. i realize not many will want to use a third party to roll back, but man i just wanted to fly again!

Hey, I definitely understand that!!
For me though there's other things to consider, one of which is at what firmware release did they fix the "dodgy horizon" issue. I think that was the V2... series.
I think the best version I've used was the very first beta v2.00.0012 back in Jan 2017. Ironically, that was the one many feared we'd be left stuck on until DJI released the rubbish prod firmware mid that year. In retrospect, I really wish I'd used that tool to back it up before updating - I'd go back to that version in a heartbeat...

the only versions available on the rollback i did were 0602 and 0503. but i'll tell you what, i will thoroughly peruse the forums for feedback before i ever update FW again! i only wish i had done that before i upgraded to 0106! oh well, live and learn.

Very wise. But have you tried the v...600 beta? That's what I'm running now and at least I can fly it. I read that v...700 beta is even better, but I sadly don't have access to that.

i’ve heard that the V....600 is much much better than the v....106  but the v..700 is also an improvement

Well, my P4 is currently flying on beta v...600, and I can categorically advise that it is a whole lot better. I'd be updating to that rather than downgrading from v...106. But sadly, with the current closed beta test for v...700, I don't think you can get access to v...600 anymore.

Does the beta include the pano features?

Bashy, I can't speak for the exclusive beta v...700, but I'll check for beta v...600 this weekend. To be honest,  I haven't tested that on my P4P, so wouldn't even thought to have looked on my P4.

Yes we don't have access to 700 ... very sad story. Maybe there is a good reason for that but at least we need to know that!

I have not tried either of the beta FW as the feedback I've heard was not all that positive. I may switch once the official release is made, and positive feedback is available. But honestly I'm thoroughly jazzed with the rollback I did.

DJI please hurry with the new update. We cant fly our drones anymore !

  Beta .700 is installed , but  Im having  a issue with visual sensor calibration in A2,  ive  performed the basic calibration on the Go4 app,  but i have a red triangle asking me to use A2  and in Dji assistant 2   i keep getting a blank scree no pattern just   a blank screen .  the 2 small windows  for  the Land R sensor images . (bottom corner of the screen) show a green tick,  
i'm only able to get the p4 the connect with A2 only a 2007 iMac running   El captain  OS X 10.11 my newer iMac, and mac book pro  wont connect  at all, so still having a bit of fun  sorting the A2   VS   calibration .before i can  give  the P4 a good test flight!

John, thanks for keeping us updated. Just to verify, do you download the latest DJI Assistant 2 from the P4 page? I'd suggest to reinstall to see whether it helps.

I too would love the .700 please. I'm finding time to fly but I'm just beating up my drone bata testing .600. I got tired of not flying so to hell with my investment, the insurance ran out with it sitting in it's case for 6 months but I'm flying now!. Thank You
