I was hoping to be able to have the opportunity to help with Beta 7 and get this tested for the masses. Weather is great and Phantom is willing. Would like to help DJI and the community out. I guess DJI has enough people beta testing V7 already and they never have acknowledged any of the input I posted on using beta 6 so I guess they don’t even care about that version anymore. Oh well, would have liked to help expedite the firmware release. So today I shall use the 70 degrees and sunny day here to go fly my Phantom and just have some fun. Hope you folks with the serious issues get back flying again soon. Good luck !!

Well SED, that was my understanding and DJI Susan reminded me of it when I requested access recently. Oh well, I hope the prod release isn't too far away - the reports on the v..700 beta have so far been good.

hi Jim I’m hoping so!  I’ve not had a chance to test the 700  fully yet, I had an issue with calibrating  the visual sensors on the A2 app on my iMac , but a fiend  has a windows pc  did it today  so I’m ready to go as soon as the weather improves  and I’ll post my findings

John, thanks for keeping us updated. Just to verify, do you download the latest DJI Assistant 2 from the P4 page? I'd suggest to reinstall to see whether it helps.

Hi Susan I have tried reinstalling. It but no joy  on my iMac  but today I managed to calibrate it on a windows pc  just waiting for the opportunity to fly

Never mind.   Doesn't matter any more.  Phantom 4 crashed.  I'm done.  NEVER TRUST DJI FIRMWARE UPDATES.  ALWAYS WAIT AND READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE FLASHING.  I'm over it!

Can you explain how some people that did not receive the email seem to have managed to secure access to the beta while others have not? Was this a mistake?

It makes no sense to me that there are people on the previous beta that are still unable to fly their drones - surely all of those people should be part of the current beta?

Once again, the bet testers are trapped. Can't go back because production firmware is buggy, can't go forward... just stuck with a wobbly drone that might crash like Jim's did.

The 700 beta is the closed one and the users are selected by the designated team. While the 600 is open for everyone. Sorry if this bothers you. The latest official version will be available soon, please try to update when you received it.

Yes, I saw that, thank you Susan. Hopefully, this firmware will resolve the issues experienced by many P4 owners. The path to get to this release is still a long way from being satisfactory in my opinion. Seven months is simply too long to wait to fix the severe stability issues.

May I know what's the current firmware? There is one beta for 0x020103 and 0x020106 before the firmware of 01.04.0000. It seems that you have a totally different one...
