I just came across this article about drunk droning and how New Jersey are going to make it illegal.

This is purely common sense though right? I mean, most people are pretty rubbish with a playstation controller when drunk, never mind a drone!

Sure it's common sense not to fly under the influence but unfortunately there are knuckleheads who choose to ignore. It's already challenging to fly and keep an eye on everything to have a successful flight so can't imagine being under the influence. Yikes !

The law is click bait. The real reason is to piggy back the other things through.

Seems reasonable enough to me. I wouldn't drive drunk either.
I just hope flyers who are being responsible aren't going to get RBT'd for 1 or 2 drinks. That'd be silly.

New Jersey must be starting at the bottom of the list of things that they need to fix.

Seriously? It won't be long until they'll add breathalysers to drones LOL. That said, anyone caught flying anything when they're drunk is just nuts

so it's don't drink and drone (or get high for that matter). As others have said it makes sense.
I guess the concept of Done Police isn't too far away from reality then.
I suspect A CW (post8#) has just opened up a whole new field of commercialism. Maybe incorporate the breath analysis into the propellers .
