During my practices I noticed that in A (auto) picture mode, when I tap near black picture border (red arrow) it shows for 2 seconds a fast blinking green rectangle (yellow arrow). I tried to google about this, but unfortunately I couldn’t find anything about this. So, can someone please explain this.

I have never seen this myself but it might suggest some form of picture cropping. Just check to see if you have altered any of the image settings.

No. I didn’t toggled anything. Pure A picture mode. I’m just tapping around screen and it’s show up. It was very hard to make an screen shot, because it’s blinking only for 2 seconds. There’s nothing about this in manual. I’m using iPhone 8 Plus 11.2.2 iOS. Latest firmware and app version.

I believe this has something to do with auto exposure lock

My guess is it says you can't lock exposure by tapping outside that green stippled square.

This is picture without connecting AC. I’m on iOS 11.2.2, iPhone 8+. If you need pic with AC &RC connected, no problem
