Hi there, all.
I observed that my Mavic doesn't always flies straight ahead !  ...  either when I push the right straigt up, the drone moved forward but somehow drifting yo the left ( Normal GPS-P mode)  .  Also, I tested the safe return after disconnecting the RC,  it came back to me as excpected but the nose slightly turned left !!
Is that a known issue ?  Is there something I forgot to do ?  Compass had been calibrated yesterday, though that shouldn't affect the fly itself !

Do a compass and IMU calibration, I had the same problem before I did the calibration.

I did compass calibration already.
I'll have a try at  IMU calibration asap.

Definitely sounds like Imu will hopefully solve it. That is a little tricky just do it slow and carefully

You may want to check your sticks on your controller. Make sure they are centered

Does it slew sideways when you stop like in this thread? https://forum.dji.com/thread-124081-1-1.html

Sounds like the control sticks need to be calibrated. What device are you using and how is it installed.

So yes, I did it and , although it seemed to be better at first, the drone still flies sideways on RTH !!
I still have to try RC callibration but this seels unreliable !  Doesn't succeed in the 60secs period !

Yes, I tried RC calibration as well .  As I said earlier, it seems awkward .  Took me several time to succeed.
Still it clearly drifts while RTH !

Well, for sure it's not a gimbal issue.  I can clearly see it drifting during its flight.

I wonder if it could be an effect from sidewind but I had some drones before ( from Yuneec ao) which do flight straight even in the wind.  Maybe another flying algorythm  on the Mavic ?  ( i didn't have any DJI before )

and,  no,  it seems pretty stable while hovering !

Mine has the same problem, calibrated IMU, Compass, Controller, a couple of times but still does it. Another thing that I noticed is that when it hovers it will take a very slow turn to the right....back to DJI it goes
