"Adventure Unfolds" !

Really sounds like a foldable drone. Maybe we already see the Mavic II now (I wasn't expecting it yet, but the "unfolds" hints...).
Or maybe it is a bigbrother to the Mavic?

If they fix some of the current issues and limitations(*) in Mavic Pro's camera, then I'll probably be ready for a Mavic II :-)

(*) Mavic has an impressive camera already for the type of drone it is, but I would like to be able to control some setting independently for video and photography, increase the quality of video (100 Mbps?), better control/handling of noisereduction vs sharpening in video, solve the ugly 50+ Hz footage, etc...

As long as its not a foldable Spark

I'd love to see a Mavic / Spark hybrid being lighter than the Mavic but with a better camera than the Spark and longer flight time. That would be the best!

Yep - this seems to be a new 'Mavic Air' to sit between the Spark and current Mavic Pro. So not an M2P as such but something in between. Will be interesting to see exactly what it is and, more importantly, can do!

True....but after the Spark debacle I won't settle for anything less

Maybe "debacle" was a poor choice of adjectives to use.  Though there does seem to be some concern in regards to flight distance (i.e. the CE folks) and wifi.

That wouldn't really make sense. If it was smaller than a Spark, there wouldn't be anything to fold!

Yes, I have seen it. But it does not give away too many clues....

From what I gained through research the new quad will be a variant of the mavic series only completely redesigned with new camera with a 1 inch sensor, it will also have new rear sensors and be offered in several different colors, longer range and 35 minutes flight time because of its smaller footprint. ( my source is a friend I made online several years ago that seems to know things about dji’s releases) he also said dji is announcing 2 new products, not just the mavic air??

Mavic has big problems with it's picture, exposure pulsating, aliasing, compression artifacts, and the worst one, heavy noise reduction or too much sharpening and that is very easy fix only in software, we just need a picture as clean as on the P3 Pro...

Whatever it is, I hope it'll drop the Mavic pro price for us broke students to own one.

I'm excited to see what Dji release.. I just recently bought a Mavic,but could what they release be the next best thing?
