The weight of the parachute is less than 1kg, so it does not affect the flight time. (Except when flying fast)
I think it is a really good item.

Nice setup and extra safety! It would seem that the additional weight would reduce the overall flight time. Wish DJI could come out with another larger battery for the Inspire 2. TB55 will not work because it is in the prop radius. They could design something to work, giving us more flight time

Wait, are you saying that adding 1KG to the bird does not affect flight time? I think you have a typo there.

What parachute system are you using? And how do they activate, automatically or manually?

I understand that you probably HAVE to throw that disclaimer in there, but how are commercial pilots supposed to do jobs such as this without safety systems in place? My recommendation is that DJI come up with a solution to this problem, and it IS becoming more of a problem...
