Hi, this is my first post here. I am building an S900 and have encountered a problem.
When connecting one of the power cables to the gold bracket I have sheared one of the square headed bolts.
The instructions say rotate until tight and parallel but it just sheared quite easily.
I have un-soldered the gold bracket and removed the broken bolt. The threads are still ok in the bracket.
I have suitable replacement bolts - just regular philips head and I am thinking of replacing all the square head bolts as I am worried about the quality of the them.
Also, (with many thanks to E-Copter Build Tips) I have soldered the crimped connectors and so I am now considering soldering around the new bolts.
Does anyone have any advice to enable me provide a strong, safe and reliable connection as I have lost a bi of confidence in the square head bolts.
Many thanks, Dave
