Not far off the coast of Queensland, near Brisbane is North Stradbroke Island. Amazingly removed from the big city with its fantastic beaches and blue water. I was over there on the weekend and it was HOT..... 35c (104f). Took my Mavic and Spark for a ride around the island. Shot in D-Cinelike on the Mavic and editted in FCPX.

I always find it strange not to hear the sounds that happen around when I record from my drone. Excluding the sounds from the Mic on my Phone....

The DJI ND filters for the Mavic. ND16 one and even at that I still ended up shooting at 1/280sec shutter speed. I do want to get the polarising ones from polar pro

I know what you mean - I lived in Australia for a year in 1998 and spent my first fortnight led out on my stomach with chronic sunburn on my back LOL It was a cloudy day too. Still have the sun spots 20 years later but no harm done! The sun is fierce in Oz.

Queensland is the skin cancer hot spot in the world. Worse for me as a ginger though!

GC has some very nice places to film... I mean excluding near the airport (maybe further just over the border with NSW?)

I have taken off from The Spit over the water, but watch for the constant flow of helicopters.

Nice beach video, I can feel the warmth.  Sadly my Australian beach video was cut short by the beach gestapo within minutes of take-off while visiting your fare country.  (and there was nobody at the beach!)

Yeah you have to be very careful where you fly it around beaches here. Its often classed as a populated area.

Very smooth footage, well done.
I am just very curious, as I have seen it many times on the internet but never asked - when you already have Mavic, which is much better in all aspects and so much easier to fly, why did you also buy Spark? Thanks!

Spark has its place. I had the spark before hand. Its size is what I like the most , I can take it through much smaller openings and reveals. The first shot in the video is from the spark and I took off in a small narrow opening that I couldn't fit the mavic in.

Also in some respects the footage from spark I can directly use without having to colour grade or correct first.

The very beautiful beach I have never seen this beach because I am live in Perth but after watching this I will definitely be planning to go this beach with family after will be completed  Assignment Writing Services  for the Australian student after completed.
