Knowing DJI, they'll just drop the CS and support for it, after all they can't even support it now with new releases of DJI Go 4

And I hope they never update the 4.1.6 it uses now. Flies perfectly fine. Although I am anxiously waiting the release Of the New Autel EVO, it will probably be the last drone I add to my fleet. Mostly just want to compare it to the Mavic. I already know the customer support is far superior and they don't have much need for constant updating.

How many me's used existing devices..??
How many me's have not bought a drone..??
How many me's do not know what a drone is..??

I have the Note 3, works great on DJI Go 4, i wanted a bigger screen so went for the Nvidia Shield K1, then a bargain came along and picked up a 9.7" Tab S2 (could be 3 cant remember now lol)  so yeah, i did go out and buy a dedicated device, 2 actually, all be cause of size though, but now, in effect i could have just stuck with the Note 3 cause i just bought the goggles

I would love a built in screen on my RC - as long as it’s made by Apple.

Yes, I've been thinking too it would be great if we had that choice. For users who can afford it, a Crystalsky built into the controller as its only display. For those who can't, the cheaper setup where you connect your phone and take your chances. With an all-inclusive controller, DJI couldn't blame malfunctions on anything but their own products. Maybe that's why it won't happen.

Will the Mavic pro go into tripod when an i device slows up to make you upgrade to a new i device?

What is this "curve" that the Android people got kicked to?

Yea like the controller for Autel's Mavic clone the Evo, its got a oled screen that can stream from the drone, seems like a good idea.

I get the impression that most Android users are sticking with or down grading to much older versions of the GO4 app anyway, where as most iOS users are updating and running the most current GO4 app, so what basket do you think DJI wants to put most of their eggs. And, I don't own nor know a lot about CS, but if it is a device made for DJI products, i would think that they would maintain software development and support for that device too.

Maybe on the forums there are some downgrading but generally overall I believe people stayed updated. Mine is updated to the latest version, HTC U11 runs fine without issue.

Android OS is currently running on over 24,000 different devices.  I would would imagine that IOS is running on less than 25

And the majority of those are low to mid range devices that will be underpowered to run the app so they don't exactly qualify. Certainly there are more Android devices but the amount that qualify to run the app is a lot less than 24,000. The selected list of suggested Android devices are many Samsung devices where there isn't much difference in OS. Anyway, my device isn't even on the list, but it is stock, unlocked without the bloat and not from a carrier and it runs perfectly fine without issue.

I am one that would would buy a device just to use with my Mavic. In fact, I'm in that process now.

However, if DJI went all-Apple, I would be looking at buying a drone from another manufacturer.

There is a rumour/conspiracy theory that DJI are not working on Android, because DJI are going to buy Apple.
Then it will be IOS only going forward.

Also production is moving into Area51 so they can integrate Alien Beaming Technology.

kewls so now DJI will be using the apple design and we will be flying apples around
or their devs are not smart enough to make things work with android. ya burns a lot of others too. I think they need to hire some of the devs that dev root, ROMs and Kernels. They would even release the kernel source so many here want. Can't wait to see them flying around the curves. Still don't know what it has to do with curves but oh well.
