Isn't that the teaser they used for the platinum?

Also the first image looks to be a profile shot of the drone, looks pretty sleek if true. Whether it's a new Mavic (since it unfolds) or Phantom or other ('A new adventure awaits'), it will definitely feature a new design.

DJI you should fix and stabilize DJI GO 4 app and mavic/spark/phantom firmware first. Otherwise your brand new drones will crash and fly away just like existing ones

If the app wouldn't crash every two seconds, that would be great too

Looks like a tweaked Phantom propeller to me?

My guess is a foldable Phantom
(I think it's a too soon for a Spark or Mavic revision)

And... I'm thinking along the lines of MacBook "Air" iPad "Air" ... lighter, thinner, faster....  (yeah, I know, "fanboy.... blah blah blah"  These are the same marketing folks who gave us the Apple Alpine White MP!)

True. Waterproof maybe? Better camera sensor? I’m hoping for a 1” sensor like the P4P, personally.

Please dont let it be just another smaller drone, but one with a better camera than P4P!

Where is this event held and how much? I live in NYC and want to go.

It’s a Mavic Air it’s waterproof can fly further and faster than Mavic Pro , only disappointment here can be if it doesn’t have a better camera than Mavic Pro . If it does I will buy. If it doesn’t I won’t .

Agree! I think most of us want better cameras now, rather than smaller drones...

Yes! It looks almost like a Inspire/Mavic combo. Foldable like Mavic, but sleek and bigger like the Inspire.

Never had a drone before and was looking at getting the spark but I’m thinking I hold off for a week

I guess it is a racing drone.

DJI already has developed their FPV goggles and they already have developed their know-how in "small" drone concepts (with Mavic and Spark). So why should they be out of this significantly growing market if they already have everything to offer a competitive solution?

It will incorporate some of the features seen in the Mavic (the folding props) and Spark (battery and camera) but adding some specific features, like a streamlined design and some powerful motors.

DJI´s current lineup is pretty much solid and not outdated at all.

There is no need for a Phantom 5 (the Phantom 4 Pro still has no match in terms of price + technology + camera) or a Mavic 2 (the Mavic Pro is still recent).

Even the teaser claim used "A new adventure unfolds" gives a hint, because this will be a "new adventure" for sure. Not only for us the consumers, but especially for DJI because they are entering in an unexplored market for them. Lets see how it "unfolds"

Anyway, this is just my opinion...

It will also feature a reel with 400 yds of fishing line capable of hoisting a 30 # salmon, and a small catapult to throw bait. Automatic upstream flight. Bear avoidance system.  A dedicated accessory for smoking the salmons in flight is already being tested. Buyers will be requested to provide evidence of valid fishing licence.
