There once was a battery so smart

You might say it was ‘state of the art’

It counts every charge

Whether tiny or large...

And then it refuses to start.

Uh oh!..did you bugger your battery?

My battery is way too smart.
It may, in fact, be a genius.
It figured out how to retire early.
