I saw in some web articles, and the Mavic documentation some mention of following a route identified by gps waypoints. I was hoping that there would be a way to upload a set of waypoints gathered on foot with my Garmin eTrex, then directing the Mavic to fly the route, but it appears that it can only record points itself and refly them. Is this true? Is there any likelihood of this capability being added someday?
Hi there, if you want to plan the waypoint mission on the map, you can refer to 2#, it is an iPad app designed to control or plan automatic flights for DJI aircraft.

So, Android users who own 80% of worldwide smartphones/tablets are left out in the cold. When can we expect the Android version?

I had reported the requirement of Android version for DJI GS Pro, our engineers are aware of this. Hope it will be supported in the future.

GSP is only compatible with iPad's. Post 4 by DirtyBird is a far better solution for your deivce.
Nobody really uses Apple stuff but yuppies and artsy-crafty types, so the ground station product is useless. And the other product mentioned is outrageously over-priced.

Option B is purchase the Litchi app. Create a simple mission & export it. You can then use this as a basis to plug in the coordinates from your etrex. Load the modified mission into Litchi & carefully adjust the altitude settings for each waypoint so you will clear the terrain.
I like that solution a lot. I've seen some problems with the Litchi app posted, but overall it seems to be an excellent solution, and far more useful than anything offered by DJI. Thank you!
