No. I won't do anything on Facebook. Maybe I'm too old for the sharing generation. Maybe I just don't trust anything that goes on there. If you go to FB, so long. I'll be here. I'm curious, just a quick decision to go FB or is there some sort of agreement between DJI and FB now?

Done, although I do understand the concerns of the other non-FB users. The current forum needs to be maintained also, otherwise you may as well consider a WhatsApp group too. ;-)

hey, no worries.
The operation team merely aims at sharing more awesome work from our users to the public.
FB is just a sharing channel and attract some people may interest in our community here.
DJI Forum is always here, dedicated to severing all DJIers!

I'm not sure I can fully explain myself about why I have trepidation over being involved with FB.  
I'll try, for starters they do not moderate fairly and they show too many biases in doing so.  They, being the leadership and founder, talk a big story about issues of fairness and diversity but then their actions demonstrate a completely different philosophy.  Now that is a rather broad overview of my issues with FB as they stand now.  On a smaller scale, I have no desire to put my personal information in to a system that operates on the level I just described when I see no trust or even where they demonstrate an even handedness in how they go about it.  Further, I do not trust them to secure or keep private personal information that goes in that system.  I'm not opposed to sharing pictures, thoughts, ideas, and other personal matters via technology but as a corporation FB does not have my best interests in mind in how they operate their business (I'm not talking about technical factors either).  In my opinion you will need additional resources to filter all the things that will end up on DJIs FB page, while as a business it makes sense for DJI to go there but as a means or extension of this forum I think that is a bad move.  In summary, I can put it as simple as this, it is about privacy and fairness.  Their corporate culture and doctrine is simply not compatible with my belief systems and life philosophy, they have done little to nothing to earn or gain my trust.  As such I will never join FB or be a part of it, while I'm not opposed to anyone choosing to do so, neither will I endorse the FB system nor will I recommend using it.

My concern if you will call it that is that i don't like FB and what it has done to our community, It is called a social media but it seem that all have become nonsocial after joining it, just sitting in their own cheese bell hungering for "likes".

For this particular move, i believe even i choose to share something in here i still have the rights for my work and would like too choose myself where it should be published, a commercial closed group i have no relations to and no chance to follow at would not be one of them.
That is the reason i ask for a opt out possibility to ensure no operations team here wouldn't republish my work in a place i don't want it to be.

From my p.o.v. DJI should put some effort to improve their own platform and this forum rather than than use their time on a FB group.

Ah, I see.
I nowadays mainly use FB to participate in some specific groups that share my interest.
No begging for likes from my part.
