There's a lot of stuff floating around the internet about the Phantom 3 but I'd sure like to see some of the DJI documentation before I lay out that kind of coin!  Any idea of when they will put that up on the support page?

It will be soon as the P3 is being shipped from China to DJI in LA and our dealers.  My guess is end of this week or the beginning of next week.

That would be good - I am keen to get reading even before my P3 arrives.

I want to know about the update procedure. Presently have a Phantom 2 Vision and an Inspire 1. Would like to upgrade Phantom 2 to Phantom 3, but if the upgrade procedure is the same as the Inspire it is a no go for me.

You cannot upgrade the P2 to the P3.  They are two different copters.  Nothing is compatible between them.

Hi Ed. Sorry, I didn't make it clear. Retire my P2 and buy the P3.
