Anyone else experiencing an intermittent prompting which pops up on the RC screen asking for a mainland China phone number? This has been taking place since I purchased the Phantom 4 pro +.
I had someone suggest to be sure to upgrade the firmware which I have completed a week ago. I have danced around like a ballerina resetting the compasses of the RC and drone multi times. I'm also told from the RC screen I need to complete my registration with DJI which I have completed twice ... as far as I know.
Too cold with snow to fly but I'm playing with the flight simulator. I worry that this China phone number issue might pop up during an actual flight. This prompting freezes the screen of the RC device. This would be a major fail and of course, the cause would most likely be attributed to the pilot in charge... bad. My only choice is to switch off the RC and power down the drone.
