Hi All!
Since two weeks ago, My drone is doing a strange noise around the gimbal. I was thinking that issue was on the gimbal, I asked a beta firmware but the issue keeps on. Yesterday I discovered that the noise stops when I apply a little pressure in the point in the picture below:



Furthermore, i see a little shaking on the yaw motor that stops again according the procedure above.

On this video we can see the issue:




Can you help me?

Is there some solution to stop it?

You can take it apart and add a bit of foam but its probably not worth it.
The fan is held captive diagonally by two fasteners. One of the free corners sometimes vibrates against the chassis creating the noise.
There is a video on it somewhere around here.

Bear in mind I could be totally wrong after my 4 second look at your video and you could indeed " Send it back to DJI for repair ™ "

Pardal, just to verify, has the drone been involved in crash or hard landing before? What's the current aircraft and RC firmware? Is there any abnormity when you test the performance? We'd like to see whether we help.

Probably the issue is as you said. Despite this, everything works fine, just this boring noise.

Thanks for reply.

No hard landing, no crashing. I'm using the last firmware for radio and beta firmware for the drone.

Everything works very well, just this boring noise.

Double check with our engineers, it is the fan noise which is closely related with the vibration. The sound will be reduced if the vibration blocked(the dot marked in your picture). It will not affect the normal usage, no need to worry.

Susan,

I opened the drone and put a foam under the fan. The issue was solved.

My suggestion is put this foam during the building of the drone in the factory.
