I received my P4P plus yesterday. Tried updating it and it tells me that I have no internet connection (Error 3.1802) also It will not let me calibrate the compass, any ideas anyone PLEASE

Have you tried all the baby steps?

I don't want to sound patronising - but try powering down the router for a few mins first - then rebooting.

Can you let DJI through the firewall of your router?

If this works - great.

I'd also try a IMU calibration before a Compass Calibration  - and make sure you are far enough away from anything that can affect the compass.  I think the manual says 1.5m radius (correct me if I am wrong)

Why are you wanting to calibrate the compass?
What is it that makes you say it won't let you?

No problem. Have returned the P4P plus to Amazon and they have dispatched the new one already on the promise that I will return the  defunct one within 30 days. Now that is what I call service

I'd suggest you don't try to unnecessarily recalibrate the compass on your new one.
If there's a genuine need to calibrate the compass, you can do that, but you have to look through the settings to do that.

You may interpret it as that, but I was genuinely trying to help you, not patronise you.

Many problems can be sourced to a router, and a simple power-off and re-boot can do wonders.

If you have any engineering experience - then you know to try the simple things first before going more in-depth.

You need a Wi-Fi connection. You will have to enter your password for you home network as well.

I was having the same problem with my new Phantom Pro + asking for a Mainland China telephone number to complete registration. It came up twice in the field keeping me from flying. I updated the firmware on both the controller then the drone and it hasn't come back, yet! Problem is I don't carry my WiFi Network out to fly at the local park.

I've signed out of my account on my Phantom 4 pro plus i.e. controller has the screen attached but when I restart it tells me to sign in but it says network unavailable - check your internet connection
Nowhere on the initial start up of controller is there a settings icon for me to connect to the internet - any ideas
