today was very fine, good weather, sunny day, and I went for a fly. The place was beautiful, but in the middle of the “second battery”, my drone hit a tree.
Luckyly no big damage, just a scratch on the back and a broken
Too far away from my position, almost 400m away and 250m below. Not easy to see the drone...

That was kind of funny, you did hit the only tree around, lol.

Glad everything works and less than 10$ fix. Cheap lesson.

I was trying to practice in going around a point of interest, “Flip” was almost 400m away and 250m below my position...

Probably the same reason that whenever I buy a new pair of shoes I always seem to stand in dog crap LOL

Lorenzo Very simple, all tress are magnetic and will draw your quad into them. Glad all  still OK.

looks like you clipped the tree pretty high up - did it fall to the ground or did it get stuck in the tree? - very lucky :-)

Sorry for your crash, but great video

DJI Thor is right. Send it back to DJI so they can send you another unit that's 3 years old and faulty. It will only cost you about 300 dollars! Your drone is not broken but let DJI do some profit on your back please do that they really need profit right now

I found it on the, ground still switched on

you are very lucky and i am happy for you.  after my crash my battery seemed perfect at first but them a few months later it was that same battery that developed a little bit of swelling and started to give battery error warnings. I suggest to keep an eye on that battery.
