My FC40 video has no sound to it, what am I doing wrong?

Thank you for that info. I am now having another problem. My FC40 camera will not turn on. When I plug in the charger cable nothing lights up like it used to and when I turn on the power button I get nothing. Was working fine.

Not sure if this helps but my fc40 camera wont charge via usb on my pc I have use a mains charger

I was thinking about getting a used FC40, but was thinking if it would be better to get a Phantom 2 and then add a camera for recording and FPV.  The Phantom 2 Vision is a big leap in price.  Will the FC40 camera fit, or work properly, on the Phantom 2?  Thanks.

When you try to charge the FC40, its led doesn't lit up, even though after pressing its power switch button?
Can you still connects to the phantom wifi and use the app ?

The FC40 is special designed for phantom FC40.Most people use H3-3D /H3-2D with a GoPro3/GoPro3+  for phantom 2.

I didn't see a clear answer as to why there is no sound being recorded. I get great videos but the sound is not there even with a fully charged camera. Is the mic on the FC40 just for show? Thanks for any help. I would like to use the quad to film my kids sports from up above. I am not upset that there is no sound because it would probably be just the sound of the motors. Here is our family's first video.

Do you mean the tiny holes above lens? That is not a mic~
I thought FC40 camera does not have a mic on it{:3_41:}
As for why there is no sound, just like what you said "it would probably be just the sound of the motors."---It's too noisy!
