I mean, Casey Neistat has a nice one already....

Hopefully they will have one at the Photography Show here in the UK this March I can have a look at. Though I think I need a bit more use out of my Spark before dropping even more cash on another drone.

I still think that you should remove those automatic generated links made in #1 posts everytime the word of a product series is written, quite annoying.

Like that they are also bringing out a car charger for it too as an optional extra rather than adding it to the flymore and thus keeping the cost down in case you don’t want it.

Off course. They called 'influencer'. And can influence only with the newest toys.

eYe - the big fish on YT get these products in advance of the release to prepare a review then post as soon as it has been officially announced - when you have 8 million subs or even 100K on a channel dedicated to drones etc DJI may contact you to show your fans their new product and what it can do.

Then that will help you decide whether it’s right for you. Casey Neistat does do excellent reviews IMO - and will say what he doesn’t like about the product too.

He seemed to really rate the Mavic Air.

Yeah... but than question of objectivity will raise, right? I've noticed, there are youtubers which like anything they get for free without any critic stance. I guess everyone needs to filter honesty of the reviewer on it's own. New times, new marketing strategies, I guess. With Casey, it's easy.... you see what he uses and it was mostly P4P so far... and now he said Mavic Air will replace it. Only the time will tell...

The camera on the P4P is outstanding for its price and whilst clearly not the most portable drone it hardly needs a suitcase to carry around. I get why he likes it.

But for travel and carrying a drone with you to capture that still image/pano the Mavic Air seems perfect.

Another good thing about Casey is, he actually uses his gear. I mean, there are gazillion examples even here on a forum that people purchased some drone but are afraid to actually fly it.  Yeah, it's the safest in some dark corner of the closet, but than again, why did you get it in the first place...

I don’t get that either - I love flying my drones! The Mavic Platinum is amazingly quiet and has afforded me to fly in areas I couldn’t with large and louder drones.

It will be interesting to see how loud the Mavic Air is. The Spark is more noticeable to passers-by than my Mavic Platinum - Do you know if the air is compatible with the 8331 props?

The end of the year? I was a second officer in November... Best way to win points is digest and taking part in contests, acknowledging good work posted on vids/stills and of course helping a bucket load of people on here with trouble shooting and knowledge gaps. It won't take you 12 months if you are actively involved.

I do have a couple of videos posted, but rarely are marked digest. Yes, I participate in contests (facebook follow, mavic air request, these with lucky numbers...) but points really come in very slow.... I am used to hard work so patience and time will come to fruition, hopefully by the end of the year.

Hard work is important - I've only received 1,000 points from contests - the other 9,000 are from posts i.e. a lot of work!
