As someone just leaving school going on a gap year, this drone would make an unbelievable addition allowing my friends and I to remember every single moment for the rest of our lives.  While also being able to share the moment with all of our other family and friends around us as our new adventure unfolds.

I signed up and my thanks to DJI for the consideration. I wonder how long it will take for DJI to get back to those who are chosen after the application deadline of February 5th? I realize Clause 5 "Equipment Loan Agreement" needing to be signed by those selected with the caveat if those selected exceed the content tasks by DJI then "users may be allowed to keep the trial Mavic Air, free of charge." I wonder what is referred to as "content tasks" that are to be expected by DJI? Thank you.

Would be so fun to try the Mavic Air! I love my Spark and the Air looks like such a great upgrade in roughly the same packaged size.  Would be great to bring the Air up the north shore of Lake Superior and capture some great footage! Can't wait to see if I can try one out!

I applied straight after the release video on 23rd jan...not heard a thing since then.

I thought I already posted the above but I realised it wasn't posted.

Just got back from Thailand in time to  apply for this. Would be stoked to test out the new mavic air.

I've got a lot more photos (& videos) waiting to be edit from the travel with the mavic on insta/youtube/skypixel so hopefully that will help out even more.

Yeah good luck to everyone. Looks like winners will be announced on the 8th and there should be emails going out before hand. If anyone is selected, be sure to check back here and gloat to everyone!

Has anyone received any DJI email, If the entry was closed yesterday I would assume the email declaring the winners should have come out today. I can't imagine that DJI with such complicated drone softwares would need 2 days to evaluate and pick winners.

Actually, I'm confused - I have to sign up in the first 1000 to get a priority code when I BUY the drone? But if I'm picked I will get one to test and put through DJIs exercises and may be able to keep it - but  I will have just bought one - am now a little confused.

The first 100 applicants receive a priority code then you apply it when you buy one
