I have just pre-ordered my Mavic Air drone! Looks like an amazing piece of kit! 4K with 60fps, defo worth the upgrade from a spark Ordered it from Heliguy https://www.heliguy.com/mavic-air

What are your thoughts will you be upgrading? Is it worth it?

Down grade from a Mavic .... should have been called a Spark Air, very misleading.

I don't think I want to be on the bleeding edge of drone technology. I waited six months before jumping on the Mavic bandwagon.

Totally agree. More like the spark pro.

Enjoy your drone, and I am sure it will be awesome. However the Mavic seems like the better drone for the money

I am underwhelmed, not enough reasons to "downgrade" from the Pro Platinum or the Pro
The Pro camera specs are still better with 12.71mp up to ISO 3200 in video and supporting C4K: 4096×2160 24p
Also no occusync still wi-fi and still NO OTG

If I was looking for a new drone, I'd still be favoring the MP or MPP, the 21 minutes flight time (with no wind) and wi-fi are deal breakers

4K at 30fps
1080p at 120fps

for 999$ i would rather get the mavic pro. longer flight time, more stability( from the looks of the air),  rather the same camera, stronger looking frame work, more distance, and the list goes on.................

Wonder if it uses pixel binning at >60fps for the 1080p.

Looks nice, gesture mode looks snappier, however I would like to see him fly gesture without his phone in a warning zone lo. I like the new autonomy features but realistically its just a spark/mavic hybrid. Spark Pro. I like that they have upped the bitrate to 100mbps for 4k. Hopefully they have upped it for the other resolutions too.

Better you just spend the extra 100 to 200 and get yourself a Mavic Pro. It is way much better and still has good portability. So disappointed, was hoping for a Mavic Pro 2

Looks like a downgrade to me. I haven't done a Wi-Fi drone since phantom 2. If it were occusync then I would consider it. But as of now mavic is king.

I pre-ordered it  at 11:12 am, and just cancelled, due to instant buyer's remorse from reading some of these posts. What I really wanted was a Phantom 5 to be announced today, so i'm going to continue to wait.
