Wanted to see if it's better than the mavic pro which is not that great at night.

I highly doubt it, it has a slower lens (2.8 vs pro's 2.4 I think) and lower max ISO. At best, if they re-engineered the autofocus for this new camera, THAT  might perform better at night, but it'll be offset by the increased image noise and underexposure.

Possibly. The night footage I watched on Youtube yesterday seemed better than what I get with my Mavic Pro. Of course, I have not tested this myself, as I do not have the Mavic Air (yet?).

That's odd. The moment (within an hour) after the M.A. was announced there were at least 20 videos up on Youtube from people who had received units early for testing. Some of those videos had night footage.
