Yes I can confirm that .15 works well with the latest firmware and I would also recommend to update to it.

As a matter of fact OTG was not a promised feature (and clearly not an intended one) when you have bought your Spark. Just use GO 4 version 4.1.15 and you have your OTG (as I do myself). You won't miss any features doing so until the official OTG support will come as promised by DJI for the future.

I tried downgrading to version 4.1.15 as you said but it is still not working. Did you also downgrade the firmware on the drone? Thanks

It seems you found out yourself, but just to be on the safe side: I strongly recommend to only use the latest firmware and with GO 4 version 4.1.15 OTG connection will work.
