I own the Mavic Pro... with the Mavic Pro batteries you can't charge them in the field with a normal USB power bank (the portable kind I can charge my iPhone, iPad, UE Megaboom etc.). If I recall, it was it's because the voltage necessary for the battery was to high for a USB power bank. Is that the same for the Mavic Air?
I doubt it, the DJI car charger needs a healthy ‘12V+’ supply, typically your car supplies 13.8 to 14.4v when running, there have been numerous threads about the Mavic Pro car charger not charging, essentially down to the supplied voltage not being adaquate to ‘get it going’..
I try this when dji was out of the car charger and had to return it don't know if it was the one I got but charge time for 2 battery was 90min got you 67%-76%
