I own the Mavic Pro... with the Mavic Pro batteries you can't charge them in the field with a normal USB power bank (the portable kind I can charge my iPhone, iPad, UE Megaboom etc.).  If I recall, it was it's because the voltage necessary for the battery was to high for a USB power bank.  Is that the same for the Mavic Air?

I would say yes.  Look at the number of MAH that needs to be supplied to charge the battery.

Hi, the answer is negative. The battery can not be charged by the power bank.

Hi, I also found out tonight that you can top the Mavic Air battery off same as the  P3 and Inspire 1 batteries

Get a AC powerbank and you can charge everything I bit heavy though.....

There where several reviews which state not.

My guess is no, as I doubt the voltage and current output of the adaptor, with a 5v input, would be high enough

I doubt it, the DJI car charger needs a healthy ‘12V+’ supply, typically your car supplies 13.8 to 14.4v when running, there have been numerous threads about the Mavic Pro car charger not charging, essentially down to the supplied voltage not being adaquate to ‘get it going’..

Anyone bought Mavic air car charger? How was the charging speed compare with using direct DC charge?

I try this when dji was out of the car charger and had to return it don't know if it was the one I got but charge time for 2 battery was 90min got you 67%-76%

if anyone want to try there's this one to but I think it's BS @ 25000mAh it say it will do 4 full charge
