Hello Tahoe Ed and thank you for providing us with the voice (and others) of DJI in this forum. Could you please answer some questions that Inspire 1 Owners have in this thread:

1> After the new updated firmware V1.2.1.0 I have noticed that I do not see the battery percentage as the level of charge decreases on the Pilot app. In the field that displays the battery level I see this _ _/__  instead. Everything else appears to be ok, the low battery warning displays and announces as the power drops.  This battery was in the Inspire for the firmware update and I put my other battery's into the Quad for updating as well.  What can I do to correct this issue? I will follow up with a screen shot as soon as it is available.

2> Can you provide us with any news on ground station progress for the DJI Pilot app? Will we be able to use the autonomous route feature when a line is created on the map?  Now that other companies are releasing these features, it would be nice to use this on the Inspire

3> Since this firmware update V1.2.1.0 has come out and some are reporting some issues, will DJI be releasing another patch soon?

Maybe we can ask DJI to be a little more proactive too:

DJI, would it be possible for *YOU* to maintain a sticky post with known Inspire 1 problems,  status, etc.? Something with the DJI stamp on it stamp on it, a place one could go to and review before starting yet another redundant thread?

This could become a positive thread but it wont happen.
I think Tahoe Ed is a multirotor enthusiast and expert in this field that likely frequented some marketing shows and this gig landed on his lap.
I would read Blade Strikes and Tahoe Eds comments and I couldn't help to feel that they were both politically motivated to say the right things to continue receiving promotional items from DJI N/C.
Now it would appear that either one of them are not in a position to offer any credible advice anymore hence the silence.
I could not fault them as I too would be thrust into a position to tell DJI to get their shit together as this support is bullshit.
I think it is safe to say that DJI is a company that bent us all over and had their way with us all.

Like i stated on a previous thread: Social Network shame and embarrassment, seems to be the only way to get this type of "Shameful" and "mediocre" companies to provide any type or to even attempt to provide customer service.... Blast them on twitter, facebook, instagram, Youtube, Tag them all over with negative comments/reviews and see how quick they are to respond.... If that doesn't work, I know your local news, investigator reporters would be happy to get some content for their news.....

Keep posting things that are on our minds that would be nice to get answers to... and hopefully they will come.

I would like to see a diagram showing the Inspire 1 and all the components. This could be helpful for maintenance and troubleshooting. Please DJI give us a manual with drawings showing us the fundamental systems.

We can certainly hope so. I think these guys have a software team working on all kinds of new features. It would be great to finish the one we are currently using!!

I am with you... This was a thread started about three weeks ago, and there is only preordering available so far. I would be great if DJI would give us an update or ETA

okay, I have figured out what happened on my first flight with the new firmware V1.2.1.0!  

When the battery level dropped below 30% the timer on the progress line did not show the time remaining anymore. It was only displaying  _ _ / _ _ . This was not a big deal because I was already back to my home point hovering and experimenting with the features in the app.

will be flying again today if the weather permits.  Has anyone else noticed this?

Well I guess this thread will get buried before all of us can get some answers..   

I received my DJI announcement email today and They are saying some new app features are coming in three months that are similar to the Phantom 3

It would be nice if they gave us some more detail

Hello, i need some assistance and suggestion, what to use to sent video from dji inspire 1 controller to production video mixer for the live broadcast event.
1. Which out put from controller?
2. Say the production control room is far from the inspire 1 been located.
3. Does lightbridge can solve this problem?

Hey rozaimicd,

I think some others can help with this question.
I believe that you are limited to the range of the second controller or a hardwire connection to the master controller using the HDMI output. Future updates are coming to the app so it should allow streaming.
