Went flying today.....got home, empty SD card. This was my first time out so I am very new, however I had succesfully recorded video and captured stills previously from my backyard. I deleted them from the SD card to keep maximum storage, maybe I did something wrong? I know I heard the shutter sound when taking pics today and I didnt see any error messages? Please HELP!!

In the camera settings menu find the "format" command and use it.  Then take some pics and vids and see if they record.

How did you delete them? By formatting the card in the drone? What type of card are you using?

I had same issue but was using a card that was not recommended. Bought one that was now I have had no issue. Not an export by any means but I worked for me

The Mavic Air comes set to record to the internal storage! You have to go in settings and change to record two sd card!
