I think DJI uses Apple as a template for their drones:

Spark = Macbook
Mavic Air = Macbook Air
Mavic Pro = Macbook Pro
Phantom = iMac
Inspire = Mac Pro

Interesting theory...but its very possible that two cutting edge companies think alike....you know, "great minds think alike!"

And Michael Perry talks like Steve Jobs.

He attempts to do so, still, there can be only one.
So actually, it was very hilarious attempt, I was entertained a lot.
Especially when it took like 5 - 10 seconds till he managed to get Mavic Air out of his pocket.
Steve would get iPhone out in a blink of the eye.
More practice needed, I guess.

Good companies know you need a nice range of products to hit every market and DJI and Apple do it very well for sure!

I think there is a long path to go and would like DJI to cope.
For example:
Apple products don’t force a ton of stupid messages on users.
Every Apple update has a proper changelog.

True, DJI has a long way to go before they matched Apple. Last year when I unboxed the Spark and was trying to set it up... I can't get the drone to connect, QR code didn't work and firmware updates stopped halfway - I was cursing DJI throughout the entire process. Never happened with any Apple products I bought.

I think you should compare Apple with dji when Apple was 10 years old, I think you will find Apple was nowhere close to where dji is after 10 years, that’s the year they also fired Steve jobs,

Yes it's crazy comparing DJI to Apple - everyone knows Apple, but if you're not into drones you won't know what DJI is. Apple is on it's way to become the world's first trillion-dollar company, DJI still has a long way to go.

Bitter android user here I'm 70% swayed on buying a second hand Iphone 6 just for flying my Spark!
